The Nature Store is Now Open!

We’re back open for business inside the Visitor’s Center. Stop by and see us, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm daily.

“The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge is the most visited refuge in the system, rivaling the visitor count of some national parks. Funds generated through the Nature Store are critical for the Friends of the Wichitas to fully support the USFWS staff in minimizing human impact and managing this beautiful ecosystem. We are thrilled with the USFWS decision to reopen their Visitor Center and allow us to resume Nature Store operations on-site.” said Jim Meyer, President of the Friends of the Wichitas.
