We are coming very close to reaching our goal of $70,000 to restore the 1927 Ferguson House which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places!  As you may recall, the home was burned in a fire back in 2010.  As of now, we are just $13,000 short of this figure.

It’s not too late for you to make a tax deductible gift to help us reach our goal.

In the meantime, the Friends of the Wichitas Board has decided that we are close enough to making goal, that we want to move forward to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather before the cold sets in.  We are working with our architect, Charles Wright, and looking to award a contract to a company who can begin the process of framing in the historic residence.  So keep an eye on the homestead as we hope to begin the restoration process soon.

Once again, it’s not too late, help us go over the top by sending in a contribution today!
