Educational Field Trip Grants

The Friends of the Wichitas make $50 Field Trip Grants available for schools and youth groups to make it possible for them to visit the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

The purpose of the grants are to provide funds to help defray the transportation costs of bringing youth groups and school age children to the refuge on a sponsored field trip. Our goal is to educate children about the environment, ecology and wildlife conservation in a beautiful and natural setting.

There are a limited number of $50 grants available each year. Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
